Rusty Carpenter

General Manager, United States
Rusty Carpenter is a senior executive experienced in managing multinational organizations. He is currently the General Manager, United States, for CPIN, Inc. With extensive expertise in the payments and merchant check services space, Rusty's work background includes Certegy Corporation, American Express Corporate Services, Andersen Worldwide, and Dun & Bradstreet. Rusty most recently served as Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of Certegy Check Services N.A., where he was responsible for the North American Check Services business including full P&L management for a $300 million, 1,500 person organization. Rusty has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Denison University and an MBA in Finance from Rutgers Graduate School of Management. Rusty is responsible for CBC's Business Partner program.

Brian Davies

Director of Engineering, Anderson Power Products
Brian Davies is the Director of Engineering at Anderson Power Products, in Sterling MA, where he is responsible for developing new electrical interconnection devices for the telecommunications, data center and emerging green power industries. Previously at APP, Brian has held the executive positions of General Manger of North American and Corporate Marketing Director. Prior to joining APP, Brian was VP of Sales, Marketing and Business Development for Beau Interconnect Systems in Laconia NH. Brian, his wife Patricia and their daughter Christine are 7-year residents of Acton.

Armand Diarbekirian

Founder and Managing Partner of MetroWest Partners, LLC.
Armand Diarbekirian is a Financial Consultant and founding partner at MetroWest Partners, LLC in Westborough, specializing in Business Succession and Estate Planning Strategies with privately held family run businesses. He has served as President of the Central Mass National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisers and also served on the State board level with the organization, Past President of Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce in Acton and currently serves on the board, Membership Chair of the Corridor Nine Chamber of Commerce in Westborough and currently serves on the board, Board of Trustees at his Condominium Association and served on the Board of the Maynard Youth Soccer Association.

Armand and Mayra, his wife of 25 years, live in Maynard with their two daughters. Melenie, a 2007 CBC graduate and presently attending the Boston Conservatory, majoring in dance and Gabriela, a junior, playing soccer for Maynard High School.

Linda Ghastin

Owner, Dance This Way, Concord, MA
Linda Ghastin is the owner of six-year-old dancewear boutique Dance This Way located in the center of West Concord. She is both the manager and buyer for the store. Linda is President of the Northeast Dance Retailers Association as well as an active member of the West Concord Military Support Group. She is the proud mother of Chris, a sergeant in the U.S. Army, and Alena, a fourth-year nursing student. While staying at home to raise her children, Linda was a Boy Scout Den Leader, co-leader of a Girl Scout Troop, and a committed volunteer in various schools. Prior to being a mom, Linda was a sales representative for Nixdorf Computer Systems as well as Raytheon Data Systems.

Eva Macarthur

Consulting Financial Controller for venture funded life sciences companies.
Eva Macarthur currently is working with MicroCHIPS and TARIS Biomedical. Prior to independent practice, Eva held accounting and management roles with Thermo Electron and Computer Corporation of America. Eva and her husband have been Acton residents for 18 years and have a son and daughter. An active volunteer in leadership roles, Eva has served as Gates Elementary PTO Chairperson, Assistant Treasurer of Acton Congregational Church, and Girl Scout Leader. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Marywood College and an MBA in Finance from the University of Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Walter G. "Chip" Morris

Artistic Director of Commonwealth Ballet Company and Director of the Acton School of Ballet
Until 2004, Chip Morris was a Founder and General Partner of Ariel Partners, LLC, an advanced software and business consulting firm to Fortune 1000 companies, including Bell South, Xerox, and Fidelity Investments. In his last engagement he served as chief architect of the largest information technology project in the history of the City of New York. He graduated with honors in philosophy and mathematics from Stanford University and holds a Master's degree in computer science and a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Karen O'Toole

Associate General Counsel for the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers and the Clients' Security Board
Karen O'Toole lives in Concord with her husband and two teenage boys. Before serving as counsel to these Boards, she practiced maritime law in Boston. While an undergraduate at Carnegie Mellon University, she danced with the Pittsburgh Ballet Company. Before studying for her law degree, she obtained an M.S.W. from the University of Michigan and worked for the Dept. of Mental Health in Boston. Karen has been a Board member since 2004.

Suzanne Peterman

President, Top Dog Design
Sue Peterman has been working in the design and communication field for over 23 years. She has BFA in Graphic Design and Sculpture. After several years in Boston Advertising agencies, Sue joined the design team at Boston Magazine, designing and producing covers and feature articles. She left Boston Magazine to become Senior Designer for Brady & Paul Communications, a publication design firm that was responsible for many start up magazines and the redesign of the Christian Science Monitor. During her 18 years as president of Top Dog Design, Sue has taken great pride in her design work and the satisfaction of her clients.

Karen Sirois

Software Engineer, BBN Technologies, Inc.
Karen has worked at BBN Technologies, Inc. of Cambridge MA for over 23 years as a software engineer providing research and development of information security technologies. She is the mother of a former dancer of Commonwealth Ballet and has volunteered with CBC for over 12 years. Karen is also active in Danny's Place, a youth center established in Acton in 2006, and with the youth ministry of St. Elizabeth's Church in Acton. She has a master's degree in computer science from Boston University and a Bachelor or Arts in Economics from Boston College which included a year of study at the University of London.

Patricia M. Wilkey

Director for EDS Global Desktop & Mobility
At EDS Patty is responsible for creating and delivering mobile and emerging solutions that range from mobile messaging to edge services, as well strategic plans, products and alliances. She is instrumental in launching new services and leading new opportunities for the business enterprise market on a global basis. Since joining EDS in 1991, Patty has held various positions including Vice President of Global Communications Industry Group. She became Chief Financial Officer of EDS' wholly owned wireless subsidiary, EDS Personal Communications Corp. (PCC) in 1995. She joined EDS' Communications, Entertainment and Media Global Industry Group in 1999, where she was key in establishing new mobile ventures and overseeing megadeals. Patty was also instrumental in establishing EDS' wireless clearinghouse joint venture Cleartech in Brazil. Patty is a member of the EDS New England Women's Leader Network, International Engineering Consortium, and the Hispanic Employee Resource Organization. She has guest appeared on CNBC News and is co-author of Business Driven Information Technology, Answers to 100 Critical Questions for Every Manager.
