Auditions for unpaid company positions with Commonwealth Ballet for the August 2024 to June 2025 season will take place in Studio 3 of Acton School of Ballet on Sunday, June 2nd, 2024. This will be the only opportunity to audition and video applications are not accepted. Registration closes at midnight Friday May 31st!
What to Know:
There is a non-refundable $25 audition fee, payable at registration.
Please arrive at 1:00pm to check-in and prepare for the audition.
Dancers must bring a current resume and headshot to the audition.
Women-identifying dancers must wear a black leotard, pink tights, and be prepared to audition on pointe.
Men-identifying dancers should wear tights, a solid color T-shirt or leotard, and ballet slippers.
Dancers must be at least 14 years old by September 1, 2024, or a rising Level 8 student from ASB.
A panel of independent, professional teachers/artists and ballet masters adjudicate the audition.
The audition will conclude at roughly 3:30pm.

September 7, 2024 - First Day of Company Class/Rehearsal
September 15, 2024 - Non-company Auditions for The Nutcracker
November 29 - December 1, and December 20-22, 2024 - The Nutcracker
March/April 2025 - Spring Production
May 2025 - ASB Spring Performance
